Student Intern Program
The American Society of Radiologic Technologists has encouraged student involvement through a Student Intern Program. The Oklahoma Society of Radiologic Technologists is equally as committed to student involvement so they have created a similar Student Intern program. The OSRT Board of Directors strongly believes that students are the leaders of the future and the OSRT has a responsibility to cultivate them now. There will be up to five interns selected each year, (To be 2nd
year students).
OSRT student interns will be assigned to shadow an officer, a committee chairperson, or a contracted staff member. Shadow experience is designed to offer opportunities to gain organizational and professional insights and provides a mechanism for valuable input on health policy issues, educational issues, and organizational operations that effect all medical imaging and radiotherapeutic students and professionals in Oklahoma.
