January 2016 President’s Newsletter

Hello everyone and happy New Year! First off I want to thank everyone who spoke at or attended our mid-year Seminar on November 14th. We had a great turnout! I also want to apologize if you ran into any problems submitting your CE certificate to the ASRT. We have fixed the problem and you should have received a new certificate via email. If you have not please email osrtemail@gmail.com and we will send you one.

Now let’s talk about 2016, our annual seminar will be March 31st and April 1st. We are still working out specific details for the location in Tulsa and will post this and hotel information to the website as soon as possible. We already have some great speakers lined up, but are still short 1 or 2, so if you are interested in speaking please contact me at emilymalsom@yahoo.com. This is a great opportunity to earn 14 CE credits, listen to some interesting lectures and network with your fellow technologists! I hope to see you there! Please be prepared at the annual seminar to nominate and/or volunteer to be on the OSRT board for the 2015-2016 year.  Remember this organization is for YOU and ultimately run by YOU.  The OSRT is only as strong as YOU make it.

Student’s please note that February 15th, 2016 is the deadline to submit your Wilhelm’s trivia, essay, exhibit and scholarship applications. These are available on the website.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your time and I hope to see you in March.
